Sold Items are Automatically Relisted

Is anyone else having this issue? I sell something and a few days later, someone is asking me about the item and making an offer! And sure-enough it's back on auction! What's up?

Same issue. Ebay relisted two items I already sold and someone has bought them again. I had to cancel orders.

Yes this has happened to me as well.  I called Ebay Customer Service to alert them about this issue.  I reached someone in the phillipines that spoke way too fast and sounded like they were eating their lunch.  From what I could understand, this is just another glitch in the already glitchy ebay platform.  After you do sell something it might be a good idea to check your active listings to make sure the item does not reappear.  Just another ebay hoop to jump through.

I've had this happen on & off for many months now. I know I didn't relist it. I have had the same problem with one ended item being relisted two or even three times! I've sold on here on & off since before 2000. I had an account before this one. So I am careful not to make mistakes. I'm constantly checking and rechecking what is relisted. Thankfully it's been maybe about 4-5 months since something that sold was sold again.

Yes, it has happened to me too & if you get too many OUT OF STOCK items they take you out of TRS! I have had 2 of those lately & then a couple of my own mistakes and now they are saying I will lose my TRS next month! Even when you call CS they state it is not their fault! NOT FAIR EBAY!

Since I DO NOT INTEND TO OFFER FREE RETURNS...guess I'll be out of TRS after June anyway so I am trying not to sweat this, but I depend on my eBay income to live and even small discounts help!

This was a mistake on eBay's part..It happened to me and caused me to have to Cancel a sale..

since the item had already been Sold..but I called eBay and they checked and saw that the item had been Relisted in Error..and removed the strike against me...It happened twice with the same item...

Sold Items are Automatically Relisted

I have had this happen to me more than a few times lately. And I have to cancel the sales and that is a strike against my account. Actually got a notice that I was close to having too many items not in stock and I have never, in all my years, actually sold an item that I did not have in stock. I have broken items I sold and had to cancel, or after the hurricane couldn't find some but never ever sold an item not in stock. But that does not help our stats. Also had two buyers request cancellations and that went against my stats too. Right now I have things somewhat back to normal. But it took time. No one at ebay fixed it. I love ebay and realize mistakes are made but relisting sold items does need to be taken care of.

Hi

I have had the problem for many months.  ebay does not remove the items that have sold from my active list.  I have had to end the item to get it off.  I have spoken to ebay about this and they have not acted on the problem.

It has happened to me about 10 to 12 times over the last three months

The relief says I have multiple items available ( usual 7 to 13)

I have called ebay numerous times and it appears to be a mystery to them.

I tried getting the auction  insertion fees refunded and they did not know how that could be done.

Another **bleep** detective software ebay glitch
