I've been getting the sliding puzzle piece for over a month and today I got this full page message. What is their problem? If they want me gone they should just let me know.
Just tried uploading the screenshot and got a error message that it couldn't be saved. Tried it in both JPG and PNG formats. That message on the photo page said : "Uploading eBay **bleep** 3.jpg resulted in the following error: Unable to Save Image"
The full page log in message basically said:
Pardon Our Interruption...
As you were browsing www.ebay.com something about your browser made us think you were a bot.
A few reasons this might happen.
You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
Or some **bleep** about a third party browser plugin.
Then it gave me the Click to verify and the Captcha that gave me the sliding puzzle piece.
At the bottom of that page it gave me my IP Address, date and time and a long Trace number.
Now that I am done with this message I see a Drag and drop here or browse files to attach beneath this box.
It will take an attachment but not a photo.
This whole website is messed up.

Can you post the image if you first change the name of the file to something that will not be bleeped out?

Rather than using the drag and drop option to append an image to your post, try using the camera icon at the top of the reply box to include your image in the message itself:
What were you doing when you got the original full-page message?
I use eBay quite a lot and I have never seen such a message, even when opening up dozens of simultaneous searches.
What browser (type and version) are you using? Are you using a third-party script blocker?

I was trying to use the camera icon to post photos but I got the error message.
I got that message when I went to ebay.com and tried to sign in.
I'm using Firefox version 72.02 and no third party script blockers.
That was the first time I've seen that page too.
I just tried it again using the camera icon and got the cant save it message.

Just tried uploading a photo using Edge and got the same error message.
I also had to play that give a helpful in order to sign in game.
I don't need this **bleep** .

I'll try. @eburtonlab that must have been it. I took out the **bleep** and it saved it.
I can't believe the bots are censoring photos by their names. Kinda over the top if you ask me. Who sees the photos name anyways?
Back to the original question. Has anyone seen this page before when trying to sign in?
I took out my IP address on the second from the bottom line of this message.

From googling the name and some of the text in that screenshot, it appears that Distil is a tool for blocking bots from crawling websites. In some cases, it can be triggered by repeatedly interrupting page loads, apparently. Reloading the page may bypass it.
Here is a five year old thread about it on another site:
