I logged into ebay on the work computer a week ago and logged out.
Today I didnt log in just visited the page and everything I have been viewing on my app is in the recently viewed window.
I freaked out that anyone else using this computer can see anything im viewing pop up in the side.
i logged back in and ensures all saved details were unchecked and that I do not auto loggin. I also made sure chrome had none of my details which it didnt. I then logged out and went to home page.
I then deleted all my recently viewed on my phone app. Then after they all deleted I went back on the computer and did another search with nothing coming up in recently viewed.
I looked at one item on my phone app, then refreshed the computers chrome page and bam the **bleep** item came up in the recently viewed without being logged in.
The way I fixed it was by creating a temporary email, creating a temporary account. Logging in with that, do a bunch of views , log out then delete both accounts.
Now it just shows the items from the temporary account and I wouldn’t dare log into ebay again on the computer.
So beware, this can ruin Christmas shopping if happened on a home computer!
