Shipping changed on all 200+ items yesterday

All my items are free shipping USPS First Class. Yesterday they mysteriously changed to USPS Priority. Now shipping costs more than the total sale for all my items.  If I revise and change it back the listing does not update and still shows Priority.  Called support yesterday but no response from IT.

I checked a few listings and they all showed First Class.

Have a great day.

Your items all show as free shipping to me, and when I click to learn more they say free standard shipping via USPS first class

Where are you seeing the change @brettn? On the listings or on the page where you purchase shipping labels.

If it's the label page then you probably have to click a link and scroll to see more options. Also make sure the weight entered doesn't exceed First Class limits otherwise the option won't be available.

It may be nothing.  I was thrown off when I went to fulfill an order and it said the purchaser had selected Priority Shipping for $10.48 (on an item that sells for $5 w/free shipping), when I only offer USPS First Class.  I think that may be normal.  I was afraid that it was telling people in the South that I could deliver in 4 days, when it takes 7 to 8 days for USPS First Class to get there from my remote Northwest location, but perhaps on their browser it shows the longer time span.  But really, when I don't offer Priority why does it say the purchaser selected it?  Perhaps to encourage me to pay more for a shipping label than I need to?

Check to see if you have weight entered in the listing. If it is a pound or over it would show as priority.

If it has, say, 10 ounces entered in the listing and they buy 2 of the item, it would show as priority because the total weight is 20 ounces.

eBay is not trying to trick you.

Ah, that explains it @brettn. That listing for screws offered free "economy" shipping with no service (first class or otherwise) specified. When no service is specified, the label page generally defaults to priority.

Actually I switched it too economy shipping after this happened because it seemed like the listing wasn't getting updated when I revised it. So I changed it a couple of times, the last time was to economy.
