Shipping Calculator Issues

I have been having issues with the calculator for weeks now and I don't understand why Ebay hasn't corrected the problem. Ebay threatens me with a lack of sales and possibly closing my account for lack of listings. I can't create a listing and use the calculator properly because it simply doesn't work. I can't offer free shipping on everything forever and I don't care to gouge my customers on shipping cost. Plus when the calculator doesn't work I have customers requesting to know how much for shipping constantly. I have been with Ebay for over 20 years and this totally ridiculous. They tell me I have to do better supposedly with my sales while trying to work with their broken system. I truly hate all the recent changes as I don't see how they benefit me. It was better at least and they should have left alone. This has become nothing more than an total let down with Ebay.  Wished there was another site equal to Ebay, but sadly there isn't.

What seems to be the problem with Calculated Shipping?   Need details to comment.

Since you have all the same type items, simply use 'Flat Rate' shipping and then 'input' what you are going to charge a customer and then quit using Calculated. Be sure to add the Final Value Fee to the shipping cost as well as the cost of the envelope etc. The light weight would mean very little 'variance' in the distance, so just pick the 'furthest zip code' and use that. 

Example- cost to ship $3 plus .42c Final Value plus .10c envelope- so $3.52 shipping cost- flat to all customers. 

I've done it this way for 12 years- sold over $1,000,000 and not 1 person and ever told me I 'overcharge'.

Are you using this calculator?  I use it all the time and have had no problems.  I have it bookmarked so when I'm getting ready to list it's handy.
