Shipment from Norway to Canada

Is it possible to send an item to buyer buy ordinary post service from Norway? UPS is very expencive compared with ordinary post service. It seems like is not possible in eBay to choose other options than UPS.  I actually sold the item to a Canadian buyer, but I was not able to ship it by any means.  Ebay just generated a lot of automatic processes that neither me ore the buyer understood. The buyer got afraid and droppet out.

I am not a recurrent seller. Only want to sell one particular item of a value of approximately USD 350.

Any ideas what I shall do to ship the item by ordinary post service (like Aliexpress and Banggood always do)?

We are buyers and sellers, here to help with your eBay issues. We are not eBay.

Only eBay can raise your selling limits. You do not have enough positive feedback yet for an increase.

Here is the skinny on limits - http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/sellinglimits.html

Here are the way(s) to get limits increased when you have met the conditions -

Another way, is to just list up to your limits and then one more to receive the error. Do this each week. During the monthly account review, the reviewer will see the attempts and will raise your limits automatically, if your account is in good standing.

I would suggest two steps...Transfer your account registration to the UK site, then send the item to the UK Global shipping service.

To transfer your account...Sign off of eBay US, and sign on to www.ebay.co.uk  Click on the link on the bottom of the UK page for Help & Contact. Call them and ask that they move your account registration to the UK site.

While you have them on the phone, you might ask for the address of the UK Global Shipping Service.

You will have to ask the UK community, how to deal with the item listing. I suspect you may need to cancel the current sale, change the shipping options on the item listing, and then the buyer would have to repurchase.

Note...While This will cause your shipping to be less expensive, it only means that the buyer may have to pay the shipping from the UK to Canada (and any import charges). These chanrges will be shown to the buyer, when they repurchase the item.

Your only option to doing the above, is to pay the shipping for the current purchase.

You registered as being from the USA. Not even sure why you did but eBay expects you to not lie about your location.

Our "normal "shipping" service is the US post office.

The US Post Office can only calculate shipping FROM the USA.

The US site can not calculate shipping from another country using their "normal" shipping service.

UPS or FedEx are international shipping services and may be able to calculate other countries.

Or...

You may have to go to YOUR country's postal site and calculate from there.

Your other problem is the buyer is from Canada and you only ship to the USA. You will have to invoice them an amount

Shipment from Norway to Canada

Thank you! I will try the suggested solution!

However, I can inform you that after the purchase was cancelled by the buyer, I removed the listing. The problem is that eBay say that I have sold items for $325 despite the fact that the purchase was cancelled. it is therfore only available $175 for a new listing, which is not enought since the item is worth around $325-$350.

Is there something you can do to resolve this, please?
