Server error

Why am I getting server error constantly now when navigating through the eBay website? I thought it was because I have an older iPad but my wife’s brand new one is getting the same error message, I keep having to boot down and boot up my iPad to be able to use the website, very annoying and this only works for a limited time before the same error message comes back……. Is this being worked on????

Server error

What version of iOS are you using and what version browser are you using?

Try the latest version of another browser that your operating system supports and see if you get the same error message.

Server error

I have been having the same problem all week on both my phone and desktop. All other websites are working fine. I have been using Edge on my desktop, and finally tried downloading Chrome tonight. Same thing is happening with Chrome. Pages will sit for several seconds before starting to load, or will not load at all. The problem is only on ebay. Other sites working fine.

Are you using an ad blocker? If the problem is with an ad that is not loading properly, that might help.

It also might be worth scanning your computer for malware or adware -- some sorts will be triggered by going to certain sites such as eBay or Yahoo and will try to serve a particular ad such as a "spin-the-wheel -- you've won a gift card" ad. Even if the original ad has been removed or is blocked, sometimes the attempt to redirect your page can slow down browsing on certain sites.

I am using an ad blocker on Firefox, and have not noticed any such slow loading recently.
