Search is not working!

Search states no match found. Tried just one word "Coach" and nothing. I know there are thousands of Coach items listed. Explains why I have no activity on my items today, nobody can find them 😞

I was wondering why it's been so slow this week and when I started checking I found this broken search. Nothing of mine can be found either.  I'm sure ebay is working on fixing it.. and I just saw a pig fly by my window.

If a search that worked well previously suddenly starts behaving badly, often the problem has something to do with a faulty keyword substitution or an inappropriate automatic category navigation issue.

You can bypass many of these sorts of issues by putting one of your keywords in quotes. This forces eBay to bypass those "smart" search features and to search for the literal keywords without any substitution or category switching. You may have to manually specify your category once again.

This is not the problem I'm seeing. I generally search WITHOUT a category to avoid losing mis-posted items. I've been seeing a repeat pattern of limited or no listings for items where I know many exist.

Today, I discovered this in my own eBay store! Both within the actual store listings AND trying to locate them within my active listing on the eBay interface.

If you put your search term in quotes, do you see results?

I see 447 listings for you, and when I search with nothing but the word Coach I see over 200,000 listings.
