Search Thumbnails

I open a page and see the large first photo. The smaller thumbnails below will highlight with the outline but won't open larger. If there are more thumbnails with the > indicator that won't open either. What is the solution? Andy

It is not clear what you are looking at -- can you post a link or an item number or describe how you got there? Is this something that happens on every item or search, or just one in particular? Also please mention what browser or app you are using and if you have tried any others and had the same issue.

I am using IE 11. I open any item, it shows a large picture of the item, under that there are smaller thumbnail pictures of different views of the item. I click on the smaller item and it use to open in the bigger picture. Nothing happens. This is something that just started to happen. All items

So on an item page, when you hover the mouse over the thumbnails under the large photo, the photo does not change. And clicking on the thumbnail does not have any effect.

I know that some folks have been having problems with IE11 over the past week -- I don't know if this is related. If you have been experiencing problems with the main eBay page locking up, you may not want to get involved in troubleshooting, particularly if you have a hard time getting back in to eBay. But if you are willing to try a few things...

I would be curious if you have the same problem if you open up the same page in an InPrivate window. Or if you sign out of eBay and then sign back in (assuming you are not having problems getting in). Or after a reboot. Or in another browser altogether. If it works in an InPrivate window in IE11, I would consider deleting eBay cookies and temporary internet files.

I don't have any answers -- the thumbnail photos seem to be working for me in Chrome and Firefox on a Windows 10 machine. I did just try a Windows 7 machine with IE11 on it, and I could select the thumbnail and see the larger version of each picture. Worked when signed out, and when signed in for me.
