Search Problems

Ok so my views have dropped off a cliff a few weeks ago.  I started checking things out.  I looked for a shirt I had listed.  It is a 3x.  Only three out there in my size/brand when I listed it.  So I looked to find it and it did not show up when search for.  I changed the title 4 times before if finally showed up.  Yes.  3 shirts with that brand/size.  Obviously people are not seeing my items.  Then this morning I looked at sold items to get an idea of interest.  I had some books listed that I deleted.  They showed up as having been sold 2 days ago.  3 different listings.  I haven't sold any books for weeks.  Clearly ebay has an issue.

How were you searching? It may have been listed in the wrong category for the keywords you were using, or possibly your search keywords did not match the title or item-specifics. Or else eBay may have been doing some odd keyword grouping.

I see 16 current results for hot cotton 3x at the moment in Women's Tops, including yours. If I search hot cotton and use the 3x filter, I see 14, including yours.

Then this morning I looked at sold items to get an idea of interest. I had some books listed that I deleted. They showed up as having been sold 2 days ago. 3 different listings. I haven't sold any books for weeks.

Multiple quantity listings do not appear under "sold" until the last item sells out, or until after the listing is ended by the seller. This can make things appear to have been sold at odd times that do not really correspond to actual sales. To see the actual sale dates, it is necessary to open the listing and look under the number sold link.
