I have been an avid & regular user of the 'saved searches' feature on eBay for years - found lots of good items this way for years on end with no issues whatsoever. However, fairly recently, I've noticed something has become broken with the feature: only a fraction of my saved searches will now show new items. I have a maximum of 200 searches, and now only a handful will display new items. You might be thinking "well, maybe that's just cause there's no new items for that specific search?" - I believe this to be incorrect. I've been a daily user of this feature for years, and if I went only a few hours without checking my searches, when I'd go back to check I would be met with dozens if not hundreds of new items. So I am confident it's an error within the system. I've asked a handful of my resale colleagues and they've noted that their searches have also stopped properly loading in results. This all started maybe a month or so ago.
I don't know if this is nation or worldwide, but has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, have you found any workarounds / solutions? I have personally deleted all 200 searches, and then re-entered them but that didn't fix it. I've tried logging in from another smartphone I have, but still no luck. Maybe if I sign onto another eBay account? I don't know, I'm frankly very unsure at this point. I also asked eBay customer support but they more or less had no clue and never even heard of this issue. So now I'm coming here to check in with other sellers / eBay users. Saved searches is an essential feature that I rely upon so any help in solving this ordeal would be greatly appreciated.
