Sales Report not showing most of my shipping costs for 2022

If I go to Performance/Sales and bring up the sales report for, say, 1/1/22 - 12/31/22 it only shows the shipping labels I paid from 11/25/22 - 12/31/22 under the Selling Costs Breakdown.  It shows $0 for any shipping labels I paid for before that date.  I am not really able to compare months from 2022 to 2023 as the my shipping label costs are non-existent.  Is this a glitch and if so, can it be resolved to show accurate selling costs?

How did you pay for those labels @modernvintagevibes  - with eBay pending funds or with PayPal? If you paid with PayPal you can download a report from there.

@wastingtime101 all of my labels were paid with ebay funds.  What is interesting is I printed this report in May 2023 for the 2022 year and my label costs showed over $12k but now they are only showing for the 2022 year $1,352?  It just makes no sense that the report is not importing the shipping costs I paid.    I know a lot of folks use this tool for comparisons from previous months/years/quarters/etc but it is useless if the previous year shipping costs are dropping off.

Mine is the same.  It shows only $4600 in shipping labels cost for the whole year, but I sold over 17k items.  All of my shipping comes out of ebay as well.  I don't use paypal or outside shipping sites.  It is frustrating to not be able to view the comparison percent accurately.

What I recommend @modernvintagevibes and @themodernavenue is to use a different report.

Instead of going to Performance > Sales, go to Payments > Reports > Financial Statements

All the reports under Payments are more accurate for your accounting purposes than the summaries shown under the Performance section.

@wastingtime101 yes I understand the financials under Payments are more accurate but for comparison purposes (which is what the sales report is intended), it is useless if it is not comparing apples to apples.  I can't compare, say, July 2023 with July 2022 because the 2022 figures are showing the shipping label fees I paid as $0.

My post was intended to provide an alternate method to retrieve the data while the Sales Performance page is underperforming. I was able to duplicate the problem on the Sales Performance page.

The Financial Statements go back several years and are issued monthly, so it's easy to compare July 2023 to July 2022. Hope that helps @modernvintagevibes .

Thanks @wastingtime101 .   I appreciate the assistance.  I have called twice regarding this issue and I don't know if the CSRs really understand what the issue is.  They both stated they are going to send to tech but I have no idea how to track or if tech will even review.

@modernvintagevibes I would love to hear if you find anything. I am having the same issue. I went to the Payments tab and my shipping label info is not showing there for many of my transactions.  For example, in February 2022, I had 24 orders and in the Payments > All transactions page, it shows zero shipping label transactions 😭
