So I have never sold anything on ebay and I have run into an issue. It seems that people are willing to pay more for my item and because of that I wanted to increase the price. However, Ebay will not let me change it and I am confused as to why, If anyone can offer an explanation or help that'd be awesome!

There's already a bid on your camera... that's why you can't revise your price.
I've been here awhile, and buyers don't throw larger prices at you. Scammers do. The price buyers are willing to pay will shake out within the auction's duration.

You cannot revise the price because you have it as an 'auction' and you have 1 bidder. Also note:
1.) Those 'offers' are scams- they won't pay. Don't respond to any 'offers' to buy, only legit questions about your item.
2.) You have a pretty good chance that the buyer will not follow through with payment (in the future, new sellers selling electronics, jewelry, cameras should only list as a 'buy it now' price, and 'requires immediate payment'. ) If they do follow through (and now that you have 1 bidder, you just need to ride it out to the end of the auction) watch out for #3 below
3.) You have a pretty good chance you will get a fake message asking you (from the supposed buyer) to change the shipping address. DO NOT DO THIS!

scammers pick new sellers so expect a lot of Great Offers and usually off eBay communication with fake PayPal emails. Gift cards are the big scams too. True eBay buyers are looking for a deal not looking to pay more + tax for an item.
