Recently Viewed items that are not ours.

We are constantly having items show up in the recently viewed section that we have not looked at. We clear them out and more items appear that we have not looked at.  Any insight on this issue?

Thanks.

eBays' show a similar item to what was being looked at is seriously broken and may be skewing the recent items list, that being said:

Based on other posts in the recent past, eBay tracks by IP address as well as user and will show items viewed by someone else on the same outward facing IP.   So if you are using a public wifi, eBay will conflate your recently viewed with others on the same public wifi.

If you have wifi at your place of residence that should be a "private" IP, check to make sure your router is secure and someone isn't piggy backing on your connection.

If you have Xfinity cable this is common.  Unless you know to do it, Xfinity routers by default allow a "guest" channel where anyone with an Xfinity login can use your device as a public wifi spot. It's partitioned and should be secure, but I turn it off as I don't trust the authorities to believe that it's not my computer if someone accesses illegal porn via the guest channel on my Xfinity router.

Xfinity public WiFI is supposed to be walled off and have a separate IP address, so shouldn't be an issue for eBay IP issues if someone else is using it (agree that what LE would do is a crapshoot).
