Purchase not showing in history

So about 3 days ago i purchased a computer case but its not in my purchase history and yes i already look in the hidden purchases list. I know if you look at an item that you already bought it takes you to the page that you already bought the item. So i looked up the case and clicked on it and it says "We did not find your transaction in our system. (Trading.396)"

If you are using a mobile device, try checking your Purchase History using a desktop browser.

If the transaction does not appear, there are some possible reasons: the purchase may have been made using a different account; the purchase may have been made when not signed in to an account (a "guest" purchase); the transaction may have been the subject of a dispute, and thus now appear in the Resolution Center; the transaction or listing may have been removed by eBay.

If the purchase was made as a guest, you should have received an email with the subject "Order Confirmed". See here for details:

If the listing was removed by eBay, see if you can find the seller's account. If the seller is no longer registered and eBay does not send you a message with instructions, you may have to pursue a refund through your PayPal account if the purchase was made that way. Be sure to mention that the seller is no longer registered.

Did you get any emails concerning your purchase? You should have go one from eBay and PayPal, if you used them. Also , if eBay cancelled the item for some reason, you would have got one about that too.

i’ve made a few purchases on ebay just 2 days ago and i’ve paid for the items, all different sellers, it’s come up on my bank statements but i’ve gotten no email and i’ve checked my purchase history on ebay and it says i haven’t purchased anything so i’ve tried to sign out to see if i had made them not logged in and the same notice came up. i’m not sure what to do i spent about $300 someone please help😅

Make sure you are signed in to the same eBay account you used to make those purchases.

I just had a similar question about an item that I knew I had purchased months ago. I read the common answers to this question, but none of them were what happened to me. I checked my email and could not find email proof, checked by date and could not find any proof of purchase. 

I ended up finding the purchase by searching the first word in the listing. When I tried to click on the "purchase details" it asked me to log in... I was already logged in.  I logged in again and it just took me to my ebay account... not the purchase details... I check my purchase history and the item is still not there. So then I click the back arrow once to see if the log in info was to another account or something and nothing happens, twice and presto ... I'm souldenly at the purchase details of the item. 

I check the date on the purchase (march 2022)  go back to the drop down menu and click purchase history. Select 2022 and the item is not there. Obviously something wrong with the system.

I have bought SEVERAL parts for a vehicle, I went back to get receipts for my taxes and they are not there in my purchase history. I only have this account and did not purchase anything as a quest, nor do I hide orders. I also used my desk top to make all my purchases, never through the app. I can search it in my purchase history and find it most of the time which makes no sense because it should be with other orders.

I bought a replacement remote and then found the original. I got the confirmation email but ebay cannot find the purchase with either the order number ot the item number. I cannotvreturn it without the purchase showingvup and the seller link simply takes me to a website, with no way to contact them. This is frustrating.

Make sure you are checking the same eBay account you used to make the original purchase.

Try searching your purchase history by item title rather than order number.

My entire 2022 purchases is empty.

There should be at least 25 purchases in 2022.

2021 shows purchases.

And no, I don't use a smart device for eBay, only desktop.

And no, I only have one(1) account on eBay.

Anybody else having the same problem?
