Recently they have changed the purchase history and now I see all of my purchases. I have a purchase history that goes back 20 years. I don't want to see old purchases. I like to hide purchases after I receive the item and leave feedback. The transaction is complete. I hide the old order at that point to be able to separate new purchases from old purchases. Now when I go into purchase history I see all purchases. When I hide something now, it does not stay hidden. If I navigate off the page and back again purchase will history will show everything. This is annoying.

eBay has changed the Purchase History and Summary pages -- the default for orders is no longer the last sixty days, but the last three years.

Some older, previously hidden items are apparently no longer hidden, and there is no option to hide old transactions, only newer ones.

One possible workaround is to bookmark a page that shows recent transactions, hide the transactions you want to hide, and then use the bookmark in place of eBay's link unless or until eBay fixes the old link.

Why would customers want to continue to see old transactions (up to 3 years old) that have been completed? If we can't hide the orders then maybe Ebay could allow us to delete them from our profile. Ebay can keep the old history. It just clutters the purchase history to the point that I can't find what I recently purchased.

eBay UK have had a botched fix for this that just about no one is happy with. All they've done is re-enable the hide button on the items.

No round of applause from those that have many many pages of items that need hiding again.

A botched fix for some botched programming. Maybe you will get a better solution on .com but somehow I doubt it.

Don't bother re-hiding anything. Over on .uk the programmers, and I use that term very loosely, have added more years to the drop down menu. The result being that all the pages of purchases that I re-hid are back again. I'm guessing the same will probably happen here on .com.

Even if you do hide purchases yet again, they will only come back when the menu gets fixed again to make the year selection stick.

I'm lost for words. Words that won't get censored.

Then again if the same happens here you might not notice.

The year selection menu which had changed to 2023-2017 has, in the last few hours, changed to 2023-2020. And the hidden orders have hid themselves again.
