Problems with Best Offers on Items

The other night I received an offer on an item. I accepted the offer and 'Payment Processing' came up on my screen. That was 3 days ago. Still crickets. (I accepted the offer on the app.)

So, I go looking on the computer to find out what is going on. On the listing, it says I have an "active offer."

                       👇

Yet, when I look at the actual offers, it says I have no offers.  👇

What is going on???? When I click on the completed section, it says, "Paid, expired, and declined offers and counter offers can be found in Completed."  It shows the buyer ID and their offer, but doesn't say accepted, expired...NOTHING. Under offer history, it shows that the offer expired. How did that happen when I accepted it?

I'm so confused! Thank you in advance for any advice/help.

Editing comments after responses are given could also be considered rude and disrespectful, which is what you have done more than once.

Adding the photo to your comment that previously included the link in question, for instance, explained the entire situation in one graphic. This wasn't added until long after my last comment had been posted (as seen by the editing time).

Same with your comment about insulting someone. That was added much later.

Had you included that screenshot early on, as opposed to the link, none of this would have ever happened. The link is what caused my confusion, because as the seller, I could see all of the details. I didn't understand that the link would show up differently to others, so that is why I reported it. (A link is a link I thought.)

This was a huge misunderstanding. For that I do apologize.

I can't explain what's going on, but according to the purchase history page, that listing has only two expired offers on it, dating back 3 days to Mar 6.

@lacemaker3  I know that. I was trying to avoid posting the person's user ID, as I felt it was too much info. How are you getting to that info

If you are referring to the buyer's user ID, only you the seller (and the buyer) can see that. I didn't post anything that gave away anyone's identity.

@lacemaker3  Oh, okay. How are you getting to the offer history? If you can't see the person's ID, can you see the amount offered

No, of course not. How could I?

Honestly -- How bloody could I? That is private. I have not posted anything that is not available publicly on the world wide web.

You need to get yourself under control, man. You're going postal.

@lacemaker3  🤣😂🤣 I am not going postal. I am curious! I have no clue. You posted a link to the offer history of one of my items, which you have since deleted. I honestly don't know how you got to that link. That's what I'm asking you.

I posted a link on the world-wide-web, which did not reveal any private information and was not against any rules or community guidelines, and you reported it falsely.

If you want to know how to find it:  engage your manners, use your inside voice, fix your mistake, and make it right.

So asking you a direct question is being "postal" and apparently being rude and not using an inside voice. Got it.

Thanks for hi-jacking the thread and refusing to answer a simple question. Have a wonderful evening.

You falsely reporting a post for something that is completely accurate, and in the public domain, and not posting another user's information, and reported something that does not reveal another user's  personal information in any way, but the person reports it despite all that.

That was rude, and disrespectful. Insulting someone is not a polite way to ask for help, or information.

Yes, I reported it. I didn't understand how you could see how many offers had expired and when they expired without seeing the other info in the link you had provided. (Buyer ID and amounts.)

I have asked repeatedly, to no avail. Yes, I understand you are saying it's in the public domain. That still does not answer the question.

At this point, the whole thread has taken on a new life. I will contact eBay directly with my original question.

Have a good one.
