Today I will be forced to cancel another order I am unable to fulfill because I do not have the items available. Both of these items were listed using "sell similar". Since I was forced to cancel another order 2 weeks ago for the same reason I have been diligent in double checking my numers when listing a new item.
I am very confident in saying that both of these items were listed with only one available. I did double check my other listings and found another that I had to correct due to quantity issues that was listed on the same day.
Could it be that when using the "sell similar" feature that even though I've changed the quantity that once I hit submit the system is defaulting to the quantity on the original listing that I copied from?
This is very upsetting because my account will be affected with defaults and a possible bad feedback. And before you deny the posibilites of system failures, understand that I experieced a similar problems with variable listings last fall that Ebay reps. confirmed. I ended up pulling all of those listings because the system would not remove the unavailble products.
