Problems With Checkout

Since yesterday I have been having trouble checking out. First I tried as guest checkout, after I would enter my shipping address, I would press the done button but nothing wuld happen, and it would not let me proceed. In red letters it would say enter shipping address and press done. Even though I had already filled in the address. So then I proceeded to create an account and got to the page where I select payment type. I choose credit or debit card option but no drop down window or anything comes up for me to input my card information. But in red letters it says enter card information to proceed. Ive tried restarting computers, I have tried different computers. Same problem. Is the checkout page down or something?

I had a very similar problem today, for hours!  It asked for a new credit card, which I entered, then hit the "Done" and nothing.  I wish I was being paid for each time I attempted to check out.   Even left AOL, since it can be a problem, and logged in with Firefox. I've had an account on ebay for years and find this more than annoying.  I do not believe that they are not aware of this problem.  So we called and got an individual who could not comprehend what we were saying so she then says she'll switch us to PayPal - knowing full well that they were closed and all we would get is a recording.  To say I'm really, really angry is putting it mildly.  Systems have glitches, but for how long and with no help from customer service.  Wondering if I tried my PayPal account, rather than a credit card, if it would have gone through.

I have been having the same problems since Thursday-trying to contact customer service is a pain, since they told me my account is ok it is making me wonder if they have a glitch they need to fix!

I am also having the same problems-regardless of payment type I can't purchase what I need! I do believe eBay needs to look to see if there is a glitch in their system, I have had some issues with my summery page ever since they started making changes!

I have been having the same problem. I can only check out with PayPal credit, which I do not want to do. All of a sudden, none of my credit cards work, which means lost sales for ebay.

I too have been trying to checkout since yesterday.  Thought it was on my end now I can see it's not.  It wouldnt let me select paypal so when I tried the debit/cc it let me select it but then wouldnt give me the dropdown to enter my info.

I have also been having trouble with ebay gift cards since Thursday night.At first I thought it was me and my computer,but I see it's not.Customer service my butt.As far as they are concerned,my acct. is fine.Ebay sent me to pay pal and pay pal said it was with ebay,not them!Does anyone know what can be done about this? If I can pay for my item  somehow, I'll delete my account and buy no more.I am that frustrated about this.I need to contact my seller and see what's what.

I also cannot checkout even on auctions which I have had an invoice sent to me which is one of the suggested steps going forward on the error page. This needs to be fixed immediately.

There is a problem with eBay's PayPal checkout. Numerous people, including myself, are having the same issue. eBay support is not being helpful with this issue. I called PayPal and they said my bank is rejecting the transactions. Contacted my bank and was told there are no holds or alerts on my account. So what gives? Last time something like this happened, eBay was hacked and they were completely silent about the issue. I would suggest changing passwords for eBay and PayPal ... better safe than sorry.

I'm having a problem with a sale.  According to ebay, my seller paid, but after 3 hours, nothing has shown up in my paypal account.  I am on my way to the post office, but I can't ship this package yet if I don't have the money.

I have been having trouble for days now.  I keep getting ebay unrepsonive and it won't let me pay.  Tried switching from Chrome to firefox and it crashes or let me pay for one thing then went dead.  Something is really wrong.  Then I went upstairs to my Mac and it worked fine.   So what does that say?

I am on my Mac and also tried my ipad and am not able to load My Purchase History. I have been trying to pay for two items since yesterday, Tuesday. Using Safari. Page freezes and goes nowhere.

Very annoying. Not sure how to pay for these items. Going to call CS, but not hopeful.
