India has shut down many nonessential international courier shipments.
The latest update from USPS:
"India Post advises that the previously announced lockdown resulting from the COVID-19 crisis has been extended until May 17, 2020. International mail exchanges remain suspended. However, the post will send essential goods and medicines for delivery at foreign destinations on a case-by-case basis where cargo flights are available and where the designated operator of the destination country agrees to accept and deliver the shipments. The booking of essential goods/medicines for regular dispatches by EMS is available on a regular basis for Australia, China (People’s Rep.), Indonesia, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand as certain cargo flight connections are available. The list of countries will be revised according to the availability of airlines. International passenger flight operations are suspended but cargo flights are operational. All offices of exchange and airmail units are operating but with limited staff. Domestic mail exchanges are continuing as an essential service, and vital goods and medicines are being delivered under strict government regulations. India Post cannot guarantee service delivery standards."
