Whenever I open ebay or click on a different page, a pop up appears saying Safari can't identify the identity of the website. They give a website address that I have never seen or used. (One example is stage.blukai.com) The address has changed a couple of times.
I click on cancel and it goes away until I try looking at a different page. Extremely annoying . . . HELP!

Something is trying unsuccessfully to redirect your browser to an ad site.
If you are on a computer, try a malware scan.
If you are on a tablet or phone, try clearing your Safari history and web site data.
For more specific ideas, google "re-director", "stage.blukai.com", "safari" and your device type -- "iPhone", "iPad", etc.

Thanks . . . was hoping a password change would fix it, but no. I will also try opening ebay with Firefox, rather than Safari. This problem is present only with eBay, thankfully.

If it's like some other re-directors I have heard about, Safari seems uniquely vulnerable to certain cases, so you may be OK for the time being using Firefox. The redirections are often triggered by going to specific popular sites like eBay and Yahoo.
There were a bunch of iPad users that were complaining three or four months ago that eBay was basically unusable because of constant redirections to some sort of "you've won a gift card -- send us all your info" scam site, and a lot of folks thought that perhaps eBay itself had been hacked, or tricked into hosting a malicious third-party ad.
Good luck.
