this issue is similar to another that I have posted about several times re listings missing photos. ebay removes all the photos but one in many listings ... by design or glitch. in some cases every photo has been removed. this seems to happen more with slower selling items.
this has been going on for years so far and no action by ebay to fix it that i can see. if you spot-check your listings randomly (new and older) i am sure you will find that many are missing photos.
my thinking is more by design because photos take a lot of server space and sellers with lots of listings do not have the time to really go thru every listing in order to find the listings missing them. removing photos also makes streaming time for listings going to phones quicker.
