I have been a frequent shipper to Hong Kong and am so tired of the label problems.this has been an ongoig problem for a few years,it also happens with Singapore.I hate having to use paypal shipping,it is so much costlier than ebay shipping.I ike to use 1st class package with the edelcon service,it is very good.I am so sick of reporting this problem and having it go nowhere

And all these years, I thought I was the only one with this problem.

I just got off the phone with support (what a joke) after the 10th + call over the years.  They are clueless.  He suggested that I go to the Post Office.

The real problem is that Pitney Bowes does not provide a space to enter Hong Kong as a city as well as a Country.  Ebay has no phone number for Pitney Bowes.

I tried Paypal and Shipsaver this afternoon.  Both asked me to add the city to the address Ebay provided.  They had a spot to do that.  But their charge was $8 higher that Ebay.  Interesting that they were within a dime of each other for cost.

I am going to try to find a number for Pitney Bowes.

the only workaround I found for it was using paypal shipping but they charge me 10 % more than ebay labels does.I spoke to CS about this again last week since it has been going on for so long,my CS agent put me on hold a few times and came up with some bogus info.I told her that the people you are asking are giving you bad info and the problem has nothing to do with my exclusion lists.I said why don't you just google the title and she did,she figured out that its a formatting problem with HK addresses.I said why does ebay allow you to have a bad address, she did feel sorry for me because she could clearly see when Googling this that is have been an ongoing problem for years.the same thing also occurs when shipping to Singapore. have been on ebays case about this for years,it is clearly a Pitney bows programming problem, bad code or something, paypal shipping also uses PB ,it usually does work better but paypal shipping sucks compared to ebays, way too much info is not prefilled.I still don't get it,why does paypal not have this problem but ebay shipping does

Check out PirateShip.com, there's been a couple threads that have stated that you get better international shipping rates and their label system works.  It will also get your eBay orders on demand so you don't have to re-enter the shipping information and shipping status and tracking is automatically pushed back to eBay.

Thank you. This worked. It was $10 more than eBay's USPS discount, but this site was useful. I'll keep it in mind for this future. Thanks for sharing.

Odd, it should not be that much different.  eBay's TRS discount is only 3% and that's the only difference I see in pricing when I compare.
