Pictures will not attach to messages / messages are pages of code & nonsense

For several weeks now, I have not been able to send or receive pictures from sellers or buyers in response to questions.  (I use google chrome and Gmail and have not had any such issue until recently)  Instead, the messages are pages of computer code & nonsense with no links to view pictures.  This is both a problem with attaching pictures and the messages themselves.  1 or 2 sentence responses appear at the beginning of the message and are followed by several pages of garbage.  Please fix this glitch!

Are you able to read and reply to messages in your eBay account on the message inbox page?

If not, is there any difference if you try another browser? Or switching between mobile and desktop? Or using the eBay app?

Hi,

The issue is (still) unsatisfactory for the gmail on my windows laptop AND on messages in the ebay account accessed from my laptop.  Pictures will show up in the mobile ap however (android).  Why the difference? This is a work around, not a solution.  I only encountered this problem (with pix in chrome/gmail) recently so something changed and still needs to be corrected.
