I bought couch when I tried to pay then I get note saying the seller will not ship to my location

Well you cannot force the seller to ship the couch. What did the seller want you to do? Was it listed as a pickup only?

Most all sellers do not ship couches. As @4pawsup*  stated, probably a local pickup only.
