Not receiving email notifications

Hi,

Anyone else not receiving emails for sales or shipping.  Started yesterday.

This is an old randomly occurring problem that seems to randomly affect only some users.   Sometimes it happens for a couple of days other times a couple of months and then goes away.  Have not see any specific workaround or ebay announced fix for it.

Yes.  Happened last week and was told by eBay in a chat window that it was a technical problem they were aware of.  Then it happened again yesterday and resulted in me missing a shipping deadline.

Ebay has been aware of this problem for years.  It cost me some late shipping point recently, so now have to check ebay more regularly than usual.

Someone mentioned that it seems to be affecting gmail users, but it also has affected me in the past on non-gmail addresses as well.

I had three sales in May for which I never received an e-mail notification of the sale. Can't find a number to call to talk with eBay about this.

Have been receiving "alerts" for years, regarding "saved search" items -- usually about 8 or 9 every single morning.  Then for 2 days in a row now...nothing. 

I had deleted a few no longer needed items the day before this started so I've checked the rest of them and they still appear normal thus expecting notifications.

Even added a couple new ones, yesterday to invoke email sends but still none received today.

Any suggestions on getting notifications RE-STARTED?

Do not rely on eBay's emails.

Use a third party automated search to generate emails when items matching your criteria are listed.

Google automated searches eBay for some options.

Jumping on this thread because this is still very much an issue.  when contacting sellers, paying for items, shipping notification, outbid notifications, items followed ending soon notices are all delayed, in my case i will normally get the notices 6 hours later sometimes the next day.   A number of times I was not reminded of an item ending and did not get a chance to bid because of this. The fact that this is not fixed yet ensures I do less and less business on ebay and the fact that nobody at ebay seems to care how this issue is losing ebay business make me not look back when shopping elsewhere.

Oh oh.   I deleted a Saved Searches -- email notification on Thursday, 11-10-22 -- and now for the last 3 days I've not received any more ebay notifications in my email -- usually around 6- am each day--for the more than 12 items I always watch for each day.  How can I get Ebay to restart these?   I have always relied on them.

@khaef  If you deleted the searches then you will have to do them again.  If you just turned off the email without deleting the search, go back and turn the alert back on.
