I have spent 6 hours writing detailed listings only to NOT be able to list & I’m getting ready to go back to amazon & Etsy full time if this isn’t fixed! Message states I need to fill out the UPC field, yet there is no UPC on handmade items. EBay was no help after 2 lengthy calls..

At one time you could either type in (or select) Not Applicable (N/A). I do not know if this is still the case.

This is not a glitch.

Purchase UPS numbers for your 'handmade' items, or list in another category.

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. UPC is under item specifics. I don't use eBay's site to list, I wrote my own custom software which submits my listings through their API, but I recall there was a drop down box and you had to select "Does not apply." My software does that for me automatically.

Yup, I just checked. Here's a screenshot. I recall when this first became a requirement, it took me hours to figure out why my software was no longer working, and then 5 minutes to fix it.
