I have an item that has sold and is in awaiting payment. My buyer is waiting for me to send an invoice with the freight shipping added, and every time I try to send an invoice it gives me an error message that states all of my listings are vehicles and an invoice cannot be sent. I have contacted customer support, and a trouble ticket was created but there is zero time frame when this will be resolved. I was told this was an ongoing issue with many of the listings created inside ebay Motors categories. Any insight on this, and how to prevent an unpaid item case from being created because of ebays own errors?

You can go into your settings and change how long you'll wait to receive payment.
It doesn't have to be that 4 days.

Will that change all of my listings, or just the one in question?

Check that setting page....memory (bad) is telling me you might be able to select a specific buyer.
If not, you can always just change it back after this is settled
