There is no way to report an error by Ebay. No phone number or email address. Nothing on the chat line. They duplicated a listing and now they think I need to ship the bogus listing. I can't do anything about it. Impossible to even report it.

I suspect you accidentally put (2) in the inventory box instead of 1 when you listed it
(sure, there are 2 goblets, but they constitute only 1 listing)

You are wasting time trying to contact eBay because of an error in your listing.
When you have a listing for 2 goblets and are selling them as a set of 2, when you are filling out the listing information, the "Quantity" of the listing would be 1, not 2.
You will have to cancel with the reason of Out Of Stock. This is a defect against your seller account. If this is your 1st defect, you might be OK.

Yes, the waterford goblets. They are saying that the buyer bought both listings even though they only bought and paid for one. If i try to cancel, they want to refund the money to the buyer. maybe I put the wrong quantity in (not sure) but canceling will only send the buyer's money back. Thanks for the help. By the way they paid me for both sales!

That is Ebay paid me for both.

How many goblets do you have? Two goblets, or two pairs of goblets?
You set up the listing as though you were selling two pairs of goblets in one listing, and the same buyer bought both of them. So, the buyer is probably expecting to receiving two pairs, or four goblets total.

As I mentioned in your other post, it was only one listing, but you put a quantity of two, meaning you had two sets of two to sell.

of course they paid for 2 sales...but according to you, you only have ONE set (of 2)!
do you have 2 sets of 2 goblets or not?
As pointed out, it looks like you put "2" in the Available Box when you setup the listing......that meant you had 2 "sets" of 2....
You need to contact the buyer and tell them you only have 1 set (made an error in the listing)
Could they please ask to cancel the 2nd order, and you will oblige....(that might save you an out of stock penalty)

You do realize that this statement is an impossibility....if they bought and paid for only ONE, how could they "by the way they paid for both"
How much money is in your payments window...around $80.00 or so?

So you were able to contact eBay?
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

I tried to cancel the listing but it was going to refund the customer money. They only bought 1 listing and only paid for 1 listing so I didn't cancel.

No, the customer only paid for 1 listing. Ebay paid me for 2 sales, crazy I know. I
