I am trying to respond to a question on an item. I respond. Click send. Nothing happens. Been 12 hours.

If you are using the eBay app, make sure you have the latest version for your OS. If you have the latest version, try deleting the app, restarting your device, and getting the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Otherwise, try another browser to respond to the message.

I'm using Firefox on PC, I can't either read nor send message.

The only way I've to read/open a message is from direct link in my emails, thankfully I always choose to send a copy to my email address.

If I reply from there, nothing happens, the message text and send button just become greyed out.

Try temporarily disabling your ad blocker or trying another browser.

Firefox users lately seem to be having problems with Enhanced Tracking Protection; it might be worth temporarily disabling that by clicking on the blue shield to the left of the page address in your Firefox browser address bar.

I notice you are registered in Italy, but you are currently posting on the US ebay.com site. Are you able to read messages on the Italian eBay site?
