Because the site is using a connection that’s not completely secure, your information will be visible to others.
For 2 days I have gotten this message when I sign in to my 4 Ebay sites. I use Google since Apple's Safari does not work well with Ebay. Is anyone else experiencing this? Guess I will have to change my browser again - sad.

I have seen a couple of similar messages in the last day or two, at least one other was also a Chrome user.
If you are using an old bookmark, try going to ebay.com and signing in there directly instead.
Check your Chrome browser to make sure it is up to date:
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
Check your SSL/TLS client:
If none of that helps, try Firefox.

Spent an hour with support yesterday. They say they are working on it. Not holding my breath.

I've been an Ebay member and use Ebay on a daily basis since 1997 so I've seen a lot of glitches, This one started about a week ago. When I sign in, this pops up before I actually get anywhere on the Ebay site:

What is that about? I stop immediately upon seeing that. It's so annoying.
I'm using a year-old HP desktop computer, Windows 10 based, and Chrome as my browser.

The link you provided says my Chrome browser is up-to-date.

Appears to be CHROME related, not an eBay issue.
Do a Google with the search words "the information you’re about to submit is not secure" and heaps of threads to this issue.
Just one of the threads:

I dont seem to have the error with Microsoft Edge.

Interesting thread with lots of info.
Apparently using an incognito browser window in Chrome does not trigger the error message -- so that is another possible workaround for folks that do not want to use a different browser to access eBay.

Still had the same error with incognito within Chrome, occurs after entering the using name and password.

Odd. I was receiving the error in Chrome Beta when signing in to ebay.com two days ago, but did not receive the error when using the incognito browser window.
Perhaps ebay.com.au has (or had) a different issue?
I am not seeing any error today signing in to either site using Chrome Beta; perhaps there has been an update.

I am getting the same thing here. It has been going on for more than a week now. Other folks in the other boards have said the same thing. Possibly ebay's security certificate may be expired? Not sure. Some think it is a Chrome issue. I just click on the button that say "send anyway", and I get through to the site.

I was nervous about "Send anyway" so I didn't try it. After seeing the "site I not secure" I was leery.

Hi. I know it is almost 2 years later but I have this problem. I can't respond to ebay messages on Chrome or Safari. I have to use Firefox. It is very annoying. Did you find a go-around solution?
