Attempted to send the seller two messages regarding an issue with a purchased item, and the messages do not appear in the sent block of the message section, nor do they show up in the BC to myself. Help!

Try sending the message from a different page. If you are contacting the seller through the listing, try contacting the seller through the seller's feedback or profile page.
Make sure your message does not contain anything that looks like contact information -- no part numbers that could be mistaken for a phone number, no email addresses or web sites. Probably better to leave out all numbers or special characters altogether if you are having issues.
