Managed Payments Sold for Error and Final Value Fee Error

payments_team@ebay

Today I sold 4 of the same postcard with the Volume pricing option where the buyer saves 25% when buying 4 or more.  The 4 postcards each cost $1.13 with this savings for a total sales cost of $4.52.  The sales tax was $.18.  I offer free shipping.  The FVF shown in Expenses was correctly listed as $.54 ($4.52 + $.18 = $4.70 x  0.115 = $.54) + $.30 transaction fee = total fee $.84.

Here is the Sold for error.  Under Manage Orders Awaiting Shipment this transaction was listed as Sold for $6.00.  It did NOT sell for $6.00; it sold for 25% less at $1.13 each x 4 so this should have been $4.52.

Here is the FVF error.  If my total fees as show correctly in Expenses is $.84, then I should have a payout of $3.68 since the Expense report shows a single FVF calculation for this sale rather than 4 fees (calculating each postcard separately rounding up).  Fees + Payout = Sold for  so $.84 + $3.68 = $4.52.

Managed Payments Sold for Error and Final Value Fee Error

I should have mentioned that the Managed Payment payout for this transaction is $3.64, not $3.68.

Managed Payments Sold for Error and Final Value Fee Error

Ah, here's another discrepancy that needs fixing.  On the listing for this postcard it gives the savings of buying 4 or more for $1.13 each rounding up ($1.50 x .75 = $1.125).  However on the Invoice / packing slip it gives the Price as $1.12 each rounding down ($1.50 x .75 = $1.125).  Therefore there is no Managed Payment payout error as they are using the item price on the invoice, not the item price on the listing.  The listing should show a savings of buying four or more for $1.12 each.

Managed Payments Sold for Error and Final Value Fee Error

I ran a Transaction Report and it shows the correct item subtotal $4.48, correct tax $.22, and correct MP fees $.54 + $.30.  So the only errors that need to be corrected are:  1) the Sold for $6.00 in Orders Awaiting Shipment (should have been $4.48) and 2) the savings price in the listing being different from the sales price on the invoice/packing slip due to rounding up on the listing and rounding down on the invoice/packing slip.

Managed Payments Sold for Error and Final Value Fee Error

I had another Sold for error today when I sold 2 of the same postcards with the Volume pricing option where the buyer saves 15% when buying 2 of the same postcards.  Originally priced at $1.00, the sales price for 2 is:

$2.00 x .85% = $1.70 (NOT $2.00 which is what is listed as the Sold for price.)
