Main Photos Multi-Variation Listing Problem not solved yet!!

When buyers click on multi-variation listing, eBay is automatically picking up a variation and showing its images first. It was not working like this before, it used to show buyers the main images of the listing first (which are the most important). This has caused a drop of 20-40% in conversion rate. 

This issue is new and started happening around late May/2020. I recorded how eBay is now showing pictures of multi-variation listings upon clicking:

Btw, the app is loading pictures very slowly and this is putting a lot of buyers off!!!

u r a professional seller.. haha... I see see ... generally should can be edited in the variation-price-quantity page...

oh can be edited in a "add variation photos" in the edit price, quantity, SKU function box.... Us site...

So nobody cares about the issue I talked about?!! 

Anyone could verify it, just open your eBay app and search for a listing with variation.

It brought the conversion rate down by 20-40% and is causing a lot of damage to sales.
