Lots of bugs in current update

1- photos, and being uploaded will then disappear if you save the listing 

2- sold something that is international

shipping and the buyer only paid a fraction of the cost. This is never happened prior to the most current update.

I don’t know about your photo issue but selling to international buyers I do know the answer to that.

You're enrolled in eBay’s International Shipping program. Those buyers pay your domestic shipping cost to ship to eBay’s shipping hub in either Illinois or California. Then eBay gets the international shipping cost to ship to the buyer.
