Listing with Variations?

Just wanted to create a new listing for CONNECTOR with 3 variations, but category that is embedded is: Business, Office & Industrial > Electrical Equipment & Supplies > Electronic Components & Semiconductors > Passive Components > Fixed Resistors, with all relevant specifics for that category, obviously not suitable for CONNECTORS. However when I change to the suitable category, I can not have variation.

Not every category supports variations. I don't know why. Something like connectors obviously is USUALLY sold with variations.

Can you find another category in which the item might fit and still be within the rules?

By the way, this may not be a technical issue, it may be a management issue (someone deciding which categories are allowed to have variations).

That is exactly what I've done, there are 5 or 6 different groups and one did work. All sorted now thank you
