The new sign in page is apparently causing problems for some folks; most of them seem to be using Microsoft Edge or Explorer browsers. The "keep me signed in" box on the sign-in page does not seem to function correctly.

There is another "keep me signed in on this computer" checkbox in your Account: Site Preferences: Other General Preferences. Check that box and hit "Apply". It seems to work for some people.

If you select to sign out of ebay the site preference to keep you signed in is being turned off. So if you sign in on a work or friends computer then sign off. When you get home you will have to sign in and go back to the site preferences and turn the option to stay signed in back on. After that if you close your browser out it should keep you signed in.
