Hi, so this seems random- but after the merging of some Jewelry categories earlier today I have bracelets in necklaces, necklaces in bracelets, EARRINGS in necklaces- and most of these categories now have NO required or recommended item specific data, ruining months of work on not just my account but my bosses' accounts. I'm talking 2000+ items affected. What is going on?

well some thing may get fixed but may take some time to do so has been posted to the boards:
But I suggest you and your boss make your choice on how to deal with it.
Wait for the maybe, or make the changes you need, that seems to be the choice.

Hi! As you've noticed, we're in the process of adjusting things. We're taking categories from being concept-based to more dynamic product-based as we announced this last month here if you'd like to read more about it. The end-goal is actually less disruptions like this, and as we shift towards utilizing Item Specifics more and unique subcategories less, we're confident in that outcome.
While this move is in process you will see some unusual results, but rest assured that we expect this to be back to running as you'd expect within a few days. Thanks for your patience @thecatscache!

Hi, this is severely impacting sales. This isn't something that is easy to fix either. What do you mean by a few days?

Unfortunately we can't even try to fix it meanwhile as changing the category manually deletes all of the old item specific data. Making new listings also doesn't have any item specific data to be filled. It is a bad position to be in and not acceptable to just say 'wait a few days'. We need a promise of a solution.

I have spent hours filling in every spec requirement and it still won’t list still says missing specs when nothing is missed
