Items clogging up Categories with Duplicates from China

I was browsing for my own placement, and Best Match showed this on the first page of the Snow globes category:

And this on the first page when I sorted by lowest price first:

None of the duplicates shown are snow globes one is a Christmas Snow Globe Lantern -ing Lamp LEDs Warm Night Light Battery and the other LED Christmas Candle Colour Changing Flickering Flameless Swirl Glitter in the snow globe category.   They are sponsored listings.

You sorted from price lowest to highest and these are all really cheap

They have range pricing.  Something like $3.75-$39.95 something close to that. 

So, because of the lowest price range, they jam up the first page in the category for lowest price and best match sorts.

I ran into that. Dozens of items, all with the same photo of which was not of a product.

On top of many different seller names, listings were pennies different or, as  mentioned,  had a range of like $1.59 to $35.00

The low price confounds the lowest price filter.

I gave up after counting 12 different seller names

This is one of the major problems with sponsored listings; always showing a bunch of irrelevant garbage at the front.  This turns off many buyers for sure (Me being one of them).  Especially now when people are ordering gifts for the holiday season.  Nothing from China is going to make it here in time for the holidays.  The search function on eBay really needs improving
