So I buy an item from an ebay seller, the item is wrong/defective. Sent a message to seller and received no response so sent another message to seller and received no response. Then reading through the so called "Help" section and decide to use the "Return Item" option, well this failed with an error message on the web page
“Home ▸My eBay ▸Oops, we had a technical hiccup
Oops, we had a technical hiccup
Please try again later or contact us for help.”
So then I try to go back to do it again and it says
"Status: Your return is complete
Return on this item is closed. View Return Details"
Yet it was not completed and it won't let me do it again. So I checked into the Seller's "feedback" and find another user had attempted to contact this seller with no response but when this buyer posted the feedback "Would not answer any of my emails" the seller replied by saying"....Open a case properly and you get a quicker response", so how are we supposed to do that if we get no response from the seller or ebay's so-called "Help"?

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

PS: When I checked the status it says the following but I did not close it:
Got it. We noted that you closed this return on Nov 3.
