Inventory Value changing

We started the morning with an inventory value at 179,456 and in a matter of hours are inventory is not listed at under 170,00 yet the unit and item count has stayed the same, and we have not have any orders. Why is our Ebay inventory value decreasing without us doing anything

I only see that type of drop in item value when I start a sale such as 5% or 10 % off of certain items.
