Incorrect estimated delivery dates on order

Sold an item, buyer in PA selected FedEx SmartPost  (Sat May 11th).  I'm on the west coast.   On the orders screen and on the new label flow it states to me, estimated delivery May 15 - 25.  The buyer selected FedEx SmartPost.  The EARLIEST this item will start moving it Tues May 14th as FedEx does not pickup Ground or SmartPost on Mondays, not at their sites or at authorized dropoffs.  I could take it to the regional FedEx Ground site in my city and it still would not move until Tues.    The SOONEST it should show is Mon May 20th, but this is SMARTPOST so the minimum stated BY FEDEX is 7 business days.  7.  SEVEN.  Not 1, not 3, 7.  So the estimate should reflect the 22 - 27, NOT the 15th.

I certain hope the buyer was not shown the 15th as the earliest estimated date.

Similar shorter than stated by carrier estimates have been shown for my items lately as well.

  After pressing ebay on the issue they stated that estimates do get adjusted for each seller based on their past shipping actuals.  Sometimes i upgrade from parcel select to priority mail. After that, they start using those priority ship times for parcel select on my other listings!  Obviously they should see i printed a prio label, but they dont figure that in. Not sure if you upgrade smartpost like that but could be part of the cause.
