I logged into Ebay today, and almost all of my watchlist items are gone.

They were there yesterday when I'd logged in, and now there's only 4 items in it.  I have not deleted any watchlist items recently.

Are you sure you are signed in to the same eBay account?

It might be worth checking your Summary page to see if the Watch List items appear there, just in case it is a page display issue, or if you have limited your Watch List display to a certain category.

Make sure you are looking at the entire list:

I checked, it's only showing 4 items.   I even logged out and back in, still the same, also logged in on mobile, which I hadn't done before, still only 4 items.

I have heard of one case where a user's Watch List items disappeared and came back, at least according to that user; perhaps it is some sort of temporary glitch.

However, if that happened to me, I would try to recreate my searches and check my recently viewed items to find as many of the previously watched items as possible without waiting for eBay to restore anything.

Also worth trying: go to the Advanced Search page and enter a single letter into the search field there to see all your past search keywords that start with that letter -- at least for searches performed in your current browser.
