I had to cancel a shipping label due to inaccurate ship from address. I canceled it immediately after it was created but it is still showing as owed. Does this normally take a while to reflect or is it something I should reach out to customer services about right away?

The moment you click submit on the label page, (with USPS) it is immediately charged to your account 9or Paypal is you select that option).
If you don't use the label, you need to void it and make sure it never sees the light of day.
To insure it never sees the light of day, USPS holds the funds you paid for about 3 weeks before they refud your funds.
In summary, it doesn't matter how quickly you 'void' or 'cancel'...it will take awhile to get your refund into the account that paid the unused label....

No need to contact CS. You will have to pay for the label, then wait for the refund to come later.
To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Void from the Actions drop-down. The void option is available for 5 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided USPS label. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.
