I download my greeting message and photo and it deletes it after I press save.

I download my greeting photo and write a message and press save and it deletes it every time. It deletes the message also. However strangely enough it has the photo on only an odd place and not on my greeting page.

I have tried many times to replace it and then save it and it does the same thing.

I download my and edit the page that greets everyone that opens it with a greeting message about yourself and a little round photo showing your likes or face. It has the list About You, Feedback, and Shop. When I go to download my profile picture and write a message and press save it deletes it all message and photo every time. It still shows the photos on other sites like feedback though. This is my profile page that I am talking about sorry.

As far as I know there isn't a page that greets anyone, I've been an eBay member for over 20yrs and never seen a greeting page. So I still don't know what you are talking about.

@charloe3  Same. It has been happening to me since yesterday. I still can't get any information to stay after confirming.

There are several people encountering this problem @charloe3 .

Click the ? icon on the bottom right of the page to file a tech report. The more people reporting, the higher it goes up eBay's fix list.

hello. Im having the same problem for 2 days now. I noticed my profile page has no picture anymore and no description "about me" I know it was there recently because I just changed the photo a few times recently so it was working just fine about a week ago. now when I go on to my profile page I change the photo and save and it applies the new photo to all my listings next to my ebay username. but when I go back to my profile page it disappears again and ebay automatically erases my description "about me" again and again. I tried  contacting  ebay today and talked with a representative but they said they will get a technical support expert to look into it and contact me within the next 48hrs. I hope its only temporary. I have 2 different ebay user names (2 profiles) that I use to sell products with which is acceptable here on ebay. I went ahead and logged into my other ebay user account and it does the same thing it deleted my photo and my description and now it wont save anything. I checked around and looked at some of the other sellers and some of them are still working some are not working. let me know if this sounds like what your experiencing with your ebay account. I think what you meant to say is your PROFILE PAGE because when I contacted ebay today they reminded me that I DO NOT have an ebay store so I remembered that right away because I have never paid for one. I just sell using my ebay account

wow you can see it shows my ebay user photo on this message board. but if you look at my ebay username at the top of this message and click "view listings" it will send you to my ebay listings and you can click my profile and you will see it is missing the photo. I used to have a description there too under the "about me" but they deleted it.. anyway if you do click it and you can see me photo then let me know because that would be interesting to know if it works for others to see and only I cannot see it anymore. Im trying to find out as much as I can about this and im hoping it will go back to normal soon but maybe ebay website is down right now with problems

I can see charloe3 profile photo here on the messageboard and when I click the username to see this members profile it DOES NOT SHOW the photo so I guess its just happening to some of us users that do not have ebay stores maybe??

I noticed the same thing is happening to my "About" text  and avatar icon. I have already re-pasted the text and icon and saved the edit. When the page is refreshed, it is gone again. I am glad to find it isn't just a problem with mine or something I have done wrong!
