I search "weatherby stock" and a bunch of left hand stocks along with right hand stocks come up. So I put "weatherby stock -left" in the search bar and it comes back with zero results. Why? thx

time was we could use the (-) in our search to narrow things down. eBay changed that............................ no longer works like it did.
Disregard......... I was apparently confused☹️

Putting a minus sign in front of a keyword to exclude results containing that keyword should still be working.
I see 137 results that ship to my location using this search:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=weatherby+stock+-left&_sacat=0&_sop=10
Using an exclusion can have other effects, though. Using an exclusion also prevents any keyword substitutions, so be sure to pick all your keywords with care when using one. A misspelling or choosing a less common variant of a keyword can prevent you from seeing many listings that way. Exclusions also affect automatic category navigation, so you may need to narrow your category manually when using an exclusion.
Other things that can affect search results. Using the "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order can cause results to be filtered, often drastically so. The "Best match" sort order may have the opposite problem -- finding many more less relevant results.
In some cases using an ad blocker can affect results seen; if you have problems seeing results or you seem to be getting fewer results than you should, try temporarily disabling your ad blocker.
