Like the title says

How do i STOIP those stupid ebay live seller videos from playing while i surf ebay, i am really getting angry at this crap.

Ebay needs to put in an OPT OUT button for all the crap.

Did you accidentally click on the Tap In button on this promotion (see screenshot below)?

If you did, just leave the eBay Live Events page that comes up. The Live Events shouldn't keep following you.

You may need to be more specific @Anonymous because there's a specific thing called eBay Live which are live streamed selling events.

Then there's something different where sponsored listings can play videos in search results (but they don't have sound, in my experience).

Which one is causing you problems? If it's the latter (sponsored video ads) you can hover over and see if there's a pause button. I know there used to be but I'm not sure if there still is today.

Other than that all you can do is click the ? icon on the lower right corner of the page and click the link to send feedback on that pop up. Or if you're on the app, shake your phone to trigger the same reporting action.

I haven't experienced what you describe but I have AdBlock and just now I clicked on the little hand in the upper right hand corner of my screen. It says I've configured AdBlock to allow ads on eBay.

It also says "New.....block floating videos". I don't know if that's why I don't see them.

I did see them on some other sites when I pause my AdBlock. I wonder if that would work in your instance if the fixes already suggested don't work for you.

Perfect, what was happening is when i log into ebay to look at stuff i am interested in, on the HOME PAGE there are live videos of people selling crap like coins and purses, neither of which i am interested in. I HATE forced ads, I have tried ebay, they are ZERO help, windows 11 thinks it is a good thing to distract you, and the sellers want $$$ for free. so needless to say as soon as my current NON VIDEO purchases are finished i an leaving fleabay forever, been here since 1999 and it has gotten worse every year.

The only videos I have seen are in eBay Motors are part of the listing and only open if I click on them, I do however get the ad for getting the app all the time that pops up and overlays the page.

Are these videos part of listings or random just showing up, over laying the page when looking at the listings or item? Are they part of the listing you are looking at? Are they in the header?

I run win 11 as well and use chrome browser usually. Have you tried dumping your cookies, browsing history etc.?

Maybe give that a try and see if it works. There has to be some reason you are getting them and I'm not. I routinely dump cookies and browsing history (usually once a week).

Problem solved, AD Blocker now can block those stupid "ebay live" seller videos.

fleabay has gotten really bad ever since that "citizens united" crap, corporations are people, that Osama Obama passed. now all ebay cares about it micro day trading off your money. i hope the next financial collapse wipes this company out.
