Ebay made major changes to all of the categories today. For instance - in books - they took out every subcategory (fiction, nonfiction, childrens, cookbooks, etc.). More than likely this is the cause of your error message. Try clicking on the dropdown for categories and (on my PC) there are "arrows" with no category name next to them. I just click on one of them and then it usually accepts it.
