I have tried tirelessly to figure out HOW item descriptions get changed to an entirely different item?
This is beyond frustrating! AND further more is it IMO pure negligence on the part of EBAY!
Does any other seller experience this? Can any "techie" help us to what triggers this IF it is indeed a "gliche" as I am being told by customer service....because I am beginning to believe it is just "fun and games" to Ebay but it is NOT to me!
Posted also to the SELLER section ...................

Can you provide more specifics? Is it listings you have posted as a seller or is it listings you are looking at as a buyer? What category? Is it an item where you are pulling in auto-generated content from eBay catalog based on UPC?
Let us know... hard to say without more information.

eBay never ever owned Vendio. Vendio was an independant third party listing tool for eBay. In 2010, Alibaba bought Vendio. As well they bought Auctiva around the same time. In 2015 Alibaba sold Vendio and Auctiva to OpenSky.

As for your issue, I cannot seem to find either listing number you posted.
@shipscriptAny sugestions o this issue. I would suspect just some occasional mistakes in editing the Vedio code out of the listings caused the issue.

@pocomocomputing Put in item # and filter by "Completed". It appears OP removed listings, probably due to errors noted above.

Both these item numbers searched by complete filter left column return nothing for me today, same as the other night, it didn't work for me then it did.

I know it has been an ongoing glitch for awhile
even the www.ebay.com/itm
is hit & miss , the other night I was able to find item & ask if it was the item an OP was posting about and gave them the format to use, then I went back & it didn't work, hence that screen shot I put in that other post for you yesterday
It is strange

I looked at both items and they show no revision history. The seller ended both "because there was an error in the listing."
The title, photos, and item specifics all agree with the title. The description does not, nor does the mobile summary that eBay has extracted from the description and placed in a meta tag for the listing.
I have located the items whose descriptions were used in error, but I can't go back far enough to determine when the original cross over occurred. I assume it happened quite some time ago and was only recently noticed. Also, because it looks like "sell-similar" might have been used instead of "relist", tracebility is not likely. I scanned for duplicates and found none.

The descriptions include font tags normally associated with the Quick lister or new Advanced listing form. Can't tell if mobile was used. Bottom line, not enough info since the source problem may be long gone.
