How soon did you try to use the card after it was purchased? The cards take up to 4 hrs to become activated.
eBay won't help because they didn't sell you the card and there's no refunds on gift cards if you lose it or it doesn't work.
Do you have any idea how easy it is to figure out the scratch off redemption code? All but the last 4 numbers of the code are on the card in plain view. There's a string of letters and numbers on the very bottom left side of the back of the card in small print. The redemption code except for the last 4 numbers are there. Look at the redemption code and then see if you don't see the same numbers repeated in the exact order in the bottom code. That is why gift cards aren't safe.
